Anđelko Domazet was born in Split in 1962. He graduated in theology in 1988 at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Zagreb. He was ordained priest in 1989. At the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1992 he gained a Licentiate degree in theology. At the same University in 1995 he defended his doctoral thesis in fundamental theology (Christological questions by Romano Guardini). One part of the doctoral thesis was published in italian in Rome 3 May 1996.
From the academic year 1995/96 to 1998/99 he taught at the Franciscan study of Theology in Makarska. From the academic year 1999/200 he is the lecturer at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Split. In 2003 he was elected to the academic title of assistent professor at the Chair of dogmatic theology, and on 16 June 2010 he gained the position of associate professor. Since 2010 he is head of the Chair of fundamental theology. He teaches the following courses: Introduction to the mysteri of Christ and the history of salvation, Christian revelation, Christianity and religion. He is also the lecturer at the postgraduate study of theology in Zagreb and Split.
As Vice Dean for science (2006-2008) he organized and conducted the postgraduate study’s program at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Split. He is the member of the editorial and scientific council of the scientific journal Crkva u svijetu and the chief editor of the liturgical and pastoral magazine Služba Božja.
He is the author of one scientific book and several scientific papers in the field of theology. He wrote a number of reviews of books and articles in the scientific journals. He gave many lectures on various scientific conferences.
